Sutherland Studios ("we," "us," "our") is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, and designs and manufactures illuminated mirror products, including electrical (LED) components.

2. Products
Our mirrors are handmade or made-to-order using 3D-printed components, mirror glass, and LED lighting hardware.
Product photos are as accurate as possible, but due to the handmade nature of each item, minor variation in colour, texture, or finish between units is normal and does not constitute a fault.
Each product listing states its dimensions, materials, and electrical specifications (voltage, power adapter type). It is your responsibility to confirm these are suitable for your intended use before ordering.
3. Orders and Payment
All prices are listed in NZD and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Payment is required in full at the time of order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion (e.g. suspected fraud, pricing error, stock unavailability), in which case you will receive a full refund.
Order confirmation does not guarantee product availability; we will contact you if an item cannot be fulfilled.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Given the fragile nature of our products (glass and 3D-printed components), items are packaged with care but transit damage can occasionally occur despite this.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within [X] days of receipt with photos, and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

5. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986, where those Acts apply to your purchase.

Under the CGA, goods supplied to you must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and last a reasonable time given their nature and the price paid. There is no fixed time limit on this guarantee — what is "reasonable" depends on the product and how it is used.

If a product you purchase from us fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature and severity of the fault. 6. Product Care and Electrical Safety
Our products include LED lighting components powered by a low-voltage DC adapter. Only use the adapter and cabling supplied with the product, or a direct like-for-like replacement.
Do not immerse any electrical component in water, expose it to excessive moisture, or attempt to modify the internal wiring.
The mirror glass and printed shroud should be cleaned with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth only — avoid abrasive or solvent-based cleaning products, which may damage the printed surface or adhesive bonds.
Products are designed for normal indoor residential use only, unless otherwise specified.
7. Returns and Refunds (Change of Mind)

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
